In control room solutions, video walls are made up of several cubes. The cubes have really thin frames, and the continuous image is built up by a video-display server also called a controller. The video wall behaves as an extra large desktop with high resolution. The controller/server provides continuous image, and capable of copying the image of each workstations through the computer network. It is able to receive RGB (monitor) images from other computers (as screen copies), as well as 16 direct video images (optionally), and 4-32 RGB/DVI overlay images. Due to the real-time displaying, RGB computer signals sent to RGB direct input terminals can be seen without delay. The windows of the applications – similar to that of the Windows OS – can be arbitrary sized, positioned, overlapped, and the priority of overlapping can also be set.
